Did you hear? By midsummer, AirTran Airways will have WiFi available on all flights! Okay, it's not free like at Hotel Teatro, but for between $7.95 (cellphone) and $12.95 for long flights, you can travel the World Wide Web at 35,000 feet. Now your boss can expect you to work absolutely everywhere. I for one am looking forward to it...and looking for a laptop with a 24-hour battery life.
Feel a sense of envy while standing in the TSA security lines while Clear Card members jump the line? As it happens, the Clear Card is easy to obtain and, now, more cost effective than ever - only $100 per year! Click here to purchase or learn more.
I have a confession to make...I have made more than one purchase on SkyMall. When the battery dies on my laptop (common) or I am unsuccessul at putting myself in a trance during turbulance, it's a great distraction and fun to see all the neat gadgets out there. For international travel, this one takes the cake. The only adapter you'll ever need is the Hammacher Schlemmer 150-Country Auto Detecting Travel Adapter and Converter. Check it out for yourself, and if you buy it here, please share your review!
The last entry will help you more at the pump than at a hotel or in the air. The Digital Fuel Mizer alerts you when you're not practicing optimal fuel efficiency by speaking to you...that's right, just like a backseat driver. While this would test my every nerve in rush hour, I would know when my lead foot was pressing too firmly. At $49, I could even break it in a heat of anger and not feel all that bad about it. Check it out, and if you buy one here, tell us if it works!
Be sure to tune in next week, when I will provide for you the Top Ten Things to Do in Denver this summer! Thank you for being a patron of our fine hotel. I look forward to seeing you at Hotel Teatro. |
